WEST FARGO — To fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the West Fargo Library will close its doors at 215 3rn to the public starting Tuesday, March 17.
According to a press release, the West Fargo Library staff said this decision was made to keep the library's staff and patrons safe and encourage social distancing practices including shaking hands, avoiding crowds, standing several feet from other people and, most importantly, staying home if you feel sick.
All return due dates for books will be extended to April 13, at least. At this time, the library did not say when they would open its doors again.
While the library’s physical location will be closed, the staff at the West Fargo Public Library are working to ensure the online services remain available and to create online versions of their popular programs. These resources can be found at westfargolibrary.org. More details will be made available as plans are solidified.
As a public service, we've opened this article to everyone regardless of subscription status.
