We are witnessing the inevitable failure of the two-party system to do what's right for the American people. One party is being led by a bombastic former game show host trying desperately to fight changing demographics that are clearly not in their favor going forward. The other clueless party is fronted in part by a woman whose ego is so big she refuses to acknowledge the harm her so-called leadership has caused.

We need truly independent candidates that are not beholden to any political party. The Democrats and Republicans can always be counted on to come together for one purpose--to prevent what I am advocating. To be clear, I am not talking about running candidates for an Independent Party. I am talking about candidates that run under no party at all, candidates answerable only to the will of the American people.

It is time to break the chains. The Declaration of Independence states that we are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Believe me, no one is happy about the current state of affairs.

Fighting the corrupted two-party system will take money, and lots of it. Ideally, benevolent billionaires will step forward to fund efforts like this for the good of us all.

You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.
