I want to thank the coordinators and volunteers of the North Dakota/Minnesota Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C., for one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken.
Everything we saw at all of the memorials, Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and Arlington National Cemetery for the guard ceremony to the wonderful time we had at the banquet with a great program and fun mail call was very well-organized.
The volunteers were so kind and helpful. They took such good care of the vets who had a difficult time walking and the many who needed to be pushed in wheelchairs.
The fantastic receptions which had many, many people playing instruments, singing, saluting and "Thank you for your service" signs at Reagan International Airport on our arrival in Washington and at Hector International Airport on the return flight to Fargo were extremely heartwarming.
The wonder experience I had on this trip is something I'll never forget.
