I'm writing to express my support for Drew Wrigley's reappointment as U.S. Attorney for North Dakota. I met Mr. Wrigley in the winter of 2003 just weeks after the abduction of my daughter, Dru Sjodin. Over the the course of subsequent years I witnessed his professionalism as he skillfully led the U.S. Attorney's office not just as their boss, but as an equal all throughout our case.

Drew always ensured, that as a family, we were informed and he was also more than willing to take the time to explain each step forward in our case. His commitment to fight for our daughter, Dru, became much more than a duty of his job, but more of a passion as a father fighting for one of his own daughters.

There was clearly a very respectful rapport between Drew and law enforcement throughout his six years on our case. I watched as he openly held numerous news conferences with local and state media throughout years, knowing they too held an important position within the state to keep the citizens of North Dakota informed.

I would encourage all those that are able to reach out to Sens. Heidi Heitkamp and John Hoeven, as I have, to support Drew Wrigley's reappointment U.S. Attorney for North Dakota.

Walker is the mother of Dru Sjodin, a 22-year-old student who was abducted from the Columbia Mall parking lot in Grand Forks and murdered in 2003.
