Thank you Moorhead and the surrounding communities for your support during the "Most Wanted" Lock-Up benefiting the people of North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota served by the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The event held May 19, at the Courtyard by Marriott, raised more than $15,000 in cash and pledges with more arriving daily. MDA would like to extend a very special thanks to our generous contributors, as well as the Lock-Up participants who dedicated their time and efforts to raise funds for MDA's local patient service programs.
Among the highest bail raisers were Jack Arneson, Chad Martin, Brent Fletcher, Joe Gaughan, Travis Schiesser, Dick Beaton, Mary Ann Held, Jean Paseka, Greg Rick and Darrel Grande.
It has been proven that the Moorhead community cares enough to make a difference. The dollars raised from the Lock-Up translate into direct local patient services. From summer camp and wheelchair purchases, to flu shots and support groups, Moorhead has made a huge difference in the fight against neuromuscular disease.
