Message to Rush Limbaugh: There are no phony soldiers in the U.S. armed forces and never have been. When men and women serve in our military, they agree to place themselves in danger of their lives, if and when the occasion demands it - and there is nothing phony about that.

When those same soldiers exercise their inalienable right of free speech to question the policies of their government, they are using the very freedoms they offer to lay down their lives for. These are acts of courage, not cause for shame or censure.

There are phony patriots, however, and Limbaugh is a prime example of this sleazy group. He consistently waves the flag as a fig leaf to cover up his greed for money, fame and power without responsibility. He shares that despicable lust with the morally bankrupt Bush/Cheney White House that he shills for.

I feel genuinely sorry for my fellow Americans who can listen to the filth Limbaugh pours between their ears on a daily basis, without immediately feeling the urge to turn it off and go take a long shower with strong soap.
