In light of the coming government shutdown, it is clear that Gov. Tim Pawlenty is not showing leadership.
The Democrats have offered several compromise budget plans. It is time for both sides to work together for the good of the state.
As governor, Pawlenty needs to take the initiative and show some moral authority, from which true leadership arises, for the good of the people of Minnesota.
