I would like everyone to know that Congressman Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., is looking out for your safety by ensuring that our national airspace system remains the safest and most admired in the world.
Pomeroy voted in favor of an amendment to the Transportation Appropriations Bill that would prevent the Federal Aviation Administration from continuing its dangerous practice of consolidating air traffic control facilities without the vital input of air traffic controllers, pilots and other affected stakeholders. The FAA's current practice could have a negative impact on the Fargo air traffic control tower and others across the state of North Dakota.
