While at a conservative political event in Las Vegas recently, David Bossi of Citizens United came to our Americans for Dr. Rice (americansforrice.com) booth where we were promoting T-shirts, campaign buttons, bumper stickers, and lapel pins.
But it was our customized Condi coffee mug which caught his eye. "Would you like to donate that Condi 2008 mug to Dick Morris? I am going to meet with him about his new book, "Condi vs. Hillary" so it would be a real kick to put it on his desk."
In the name of full disclosure, the Condi cup plus T-shirts were given as a gift to Morris and his wife along with Condi hats and a few bumper stickers. Since we report all sales from our Condi items and show our funds are being used for promotions like radio ads in Iowa and New Hampshire along with production costs of our first TV ad to the Federal Election Commission, we will make a note of this gift to Morris in our paperwork.
The name of the book is "Condi vs. Hillary; the Next Great Presidential Race" which will be published in October. Team Condi members were not contacted by Morris but he might have gathered information from our "americansforrice.com" Web site or read about our citizen's group in various newspapers from California to New York or buzzing D.C. voices.
Team Condi welcomes this book to continue the 2008 debate of whom will be the best person to lead our nation into the future. Some say it is too early, but the media is giving free ink to more than 20 politicians for 2008; therefore we are keeping the name of Condoleezza Rice in the political discussion.

With leadership and an iron will like Margaret Thatcher's, we believe Secretary of State Rice is the most qualified person for the next administration. Her job approval ratings are at 59 percent to 64 percent in polls, showing the people like her style of diplomacy on the world stage.
