Most of the people I lived and worked with in the Dominican Republic wanted to move to the United States of America. Many of the people I meet in the 15 Latin American countries I have traveled through want to move to the United States.
They want to flee their corrupt, crooked, conniving government. You cannot blame them for wanting a better life. You would want the same. But can we and should we let everyone south of the border illegally enter this country?
So who can we blame for the illegal immigration invasion? The government of the United States is guilty of a charade of empty promises on illegal immigration enforcement and reform. It is no accident that President George Bush and Mexican President Vicente Fox met in Cancun, Mexico. Were they conspiring to allow more illegal Mexican aliens into the Untied States? Members of both major parties are guilty of eroding our sovereignty.
We are being overrun by law-breaking foreigners who enter this country illegally. This is an invasion. First, secure, strengthen and safeguard our borders. If ancient China could build a 3,000-mile long wall to keep the barbarians out, the modern United States should be able and willing to build a fence to keep illegal aliens out. Next, make it costly for businesses that knowingly hire illegal aliens. Lastly, illegal immigrants who have broken the law must be deported. Just enforce the laws.
Legal limited immigration is good. But this illegal invasion is dangerous to our sovereign nation. There can be no compromise on the security of our country. Do not reward lawbreakers who enter this country illegally with amnesty. Amnesty for lawbreakers will lead to anarchy.

The illegal invasion of our sovereign nation must be stopped and reversed if our borders, jobs and way of life are to be preserved. Empower Congress to solve this problem now.
