Later this month, U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, is coming to Fargo to attend an event for Duane Sand. DeLay is one of the most powerful men in Washington. Congressional campaigns all across the country want him at their events.
It is a great sign for Sand that DeLay is coming to Fargo to support his campaign. This is a sign that Washington has faith in Sand and knows he has a good chance of winning in November.
North Dakota's Republicans must start working as hard as national Republicans to support Sand and make sure that we take back our seat in the House of Representatives.
