Cass County commissioners should drop the lawsuit against John Strand and the Save the Jail group. I can only think of two reasons for the lawsuit and both make the commissioners look real bad.
It's a good thing an election is just around the corner and three of five Cass County commissioner seats are up for debate. Maybe then we can get the real reason for the lawsuit out in the public and find out which commissioners are pushing the issue and why.
Now we know why the rest of the state calls our county, Imperial Cass. It must be the way in which the commissioners conduct our political business. They just do what they want, and file a lawsuit against anyone who gets in the way, and we all pay for it.
I always thought we had better morals than that in the upper Midwest.
