Dennis Cooley letter: Turn attention to other city projects

The May 3 vote has proven Fargo residents are very interested in how the city spends its citizens' money on municipal projects. Now is the time to turn our attention to other city projects.

The May 3 vote has proven Fargo residents are very interested in how the city spends its citizens' money on municipal projects. Now is the time to turn our attention to other city projects.

At 7 p.m. on Wednesday another public meeting will be held in the downtown library's media room on where the new library and its branches will be built. Childcare will be provided from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the downtown library.

Citizens should consider attending and joining in the discussion so that the libraries are placed in areas fitting their needs, such as offering adequate parking, public access, and the utilization of renewable energy.

If we want the $12 million budgeted to produce the best library for Fargo, we need to get involved in the process now.
