It was a disappointment not to see the review of the recent symphony performance in the Sunday (Jan. 21) Forum. We rush to get the paper early to anticipate a review when the symphony is scheduled. No review.
As attendees, we marveled at the performance. The symphony was a memorable and remarkable event. Other than the extraordinary performance by the orchestra and soloist, what was most outstanding was the opportunity for so many young performers from the area to showcase their talents. Wonderful! That's what it is all about.
The young musicians have the opportunity to perform and experience this venue and also be recognized. They are the talent of the future and a part of our heritage.
Often the arts are dismissed. Please continue to support and review the symphony, the opera and authentic arts in our community.
