While reading the front page article, "Sting leaves Ozzy irate, ... Sheriff's ploy tarnishes his name," I couldn't help but think what a genius Sheriff Paul Laney is.
His brilliance in sending out a letter to the criminals is to be commended. Give the sheriff a raise.
As far as Ozzy's reputation is concerned, I think that Ozzy sealed that a long time ago and continues to solidify that and Laney is just going with the flow.
I'd like too see Sheriff Laney run an "undercover" sting during the Lorie Line concert and then compare the results.
I believe we already know which concert attracts the people the law is looking for.
