I would like to thank Steve Scheel, CEO of Scheels All-Sports for the personal note and check he sent to me congratulating me on my upcoming MTNA National Music Teacher of the Year Award for 2004.

The Forum ran an article in the digest section in late November concerning this information. My husband and I stopped at the Fargo store to personally thank Steve, meeting him for the first time, and he explained how he is interested in music and in the people of rural North Dakota when they "make good."

We now publicly thank Scheel for his generosity and unexpected gift. In our book, we consider him "National CEO of the Year for 2004" and a friend of North Dakota Music Teachers.
