Our congratulations to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on a wonderful season.
The RedHawks won the championship in fine fashion over the weekend at Winnipeg. It was the culmination of a season that saw the RedHawks win both halves of the season, and conclude with a sparkling 62-38 regular season record. It was the only 60-plus win season since the league reformed in 1993.
Players and coaches had a great year. Fans were treated to game after game of good baseball at Newman Outdoor Field.
Again, congratulations to the RedHawks. We're already looking forward to the home opener next year.
