Garrett Bertsch letter: Here's another option for 'pledge'

Maybe our judges would allow our children to recite this in school:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under one constitution, indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

I favor the other more traditional version most of us were able to recite that one in school.

Maybe the pledge above would work for everyone in our changing country we live in today.
