I am program director of a non-profit alcohol and drug halfway house.
The success of our mission statement is contingent upon monetary/non-monetary donations provided by individuals, businesses and organizations within a community.
On June 7, our residents had the privilege of attending an F-M Red Hawks baseball game. For many of them, this was the resident's first opportunity to participate in a group recreational activity of this kind.
I would like to acknowledge the efforts and good will of Bruce Thom with his donation of the Red Hawks tickets, thereby making this event possible. It was a memorable experience for all.
