After four years of no leadership from our passive referee-style governor, now is the opportunity to elect a tough, principled leader for Minnesota.
Tim Pawlenty has proven himself to be that leader through his service as the House Majority Leader. We don't need an indecisive waffler like Tim Penny -- and certainly not a professional politician like Roger Moe, who has spent 30 years habitually raising taxes. We need Tim Pawlenty's leadership to make Minnesota government accountable to the people.
I especially like Pawlenty's education agenda, which addresses performance pay for teachers, student safety and real graduation standards.
