Perhaps Michael Volk's frustration with Fargo (Forum story, Oct. 4) is not the business community's "small-town mindset" but instead its emphasis on business integrity and solvency.
One hopes that a $14.1 million personal bankruptcy would lead a person to introspection and contrition -- something not evident in Volk's interview.
I wonder if his definition of bouncing back includes repaying his debts to those he's hurt.
