I have read with interest the attacks on the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo. No hospital is perfect, and people will be unhappy. They are crowded, underfunded by Congress and, specifically, our president. I have been going to the VA in Fargo for five years, and couldn't be happier. I get good service, get my questions answered and do a little shopping at the canteen.
I wish I could say that about MeritCare, which was mentioned. The nurses were great, the food was poor and the attending doctor wouldn't listen to what I had to say. Thus I went through much pain, and he didn't care.
I support our VA Hospital, and am sure somewhere along the line, probably more than once, I will be unhappy. Today, I am glad they are there.
