I see The Forum is piling on Howard Dean with their June 14 cartoon, "branding" him as a ranting demagogue.
However, though he may be embarrassingly frank, I don't recall Dr. Dean as ever being obscene. Perhaps the cartoonist is confusing him with President Bush, who publicly referred to a reporter with words that rhymed with "Glass Bowl," or Vice President Cheney, who publicly suggested that a senator perform an impossible sexual act on himself.
