John and Mary Jorgensen letter: A warm welcome at fitness center

We are two seniors who need to exercise each day; one of us has rheumatoid arthritis and heart problems; the other a weight problem and a need to strengthen the lungs and heart.

We are two seniors who need to exercise each day; one of us has rheumatoid arthritis and heart problems; the other a weight problem and a need to strengthen the lungs and heart.

That becomes more and more unpleasant to do outdoors as we move into late fall and winter.

We have discovered what we feel is the best kept secret on our north side of Fargo. It is a fitness center that warmly welcomes people of all ages -- we never feel intimidated or out of place as seniors. The trainers and instructors are enthusiastic young people who constantly encourage and support us -- making exercising actually fun.

We have no connections with Success Health and Fitness Center on Broadway and 15th Avenue North other than that we are very satisfied customers. And we would like to have others know what a great place it is.
