Why is it that I have to go to other news sources online in order to hear about major events taking place in other parts of the world? I only just found out that there has been major rioting going on in Paris for the past nine days. This sounds like very newsworthy information to me.
People in this part of the country are already ignorant enough. The biggest issues that concern them are whether or not The Forum should have continued running the Lewis and Clark series. How about sharing some real news? Let's broaden their minds and open their eyes.
You can't care about a world that you don't know about. So quit wasting so much newsprint on lutefisk suppers and pumpkin vandalism and start educating the people of North Dakota.
