On April 12, Branch 205 of the National Association of Letter Carriers, held a benefit auction for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of the Red River Valley. When all was said and done, more than $13,000 was raised, all of which will stay here in the Valley.
Branch 205 would like to thank all those businesses and individuals who made the auction a huge success. The businesses of Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and Casselton, N.D., all stepped up to the plate for this worthy cause. We would also like to thank the Teamsters Hall of Fargo for the use of their hall, and a special thank-you to McLaughlin Auctioneers of Dilworth for the great job they do year after year.
Thank you to all those who came and bid and made it a record breaking night for us. Thank you to the news media that also helped us promote the auction. We will do it again next year.
