Kim Armbrust, et al. letter: Goldenberg will be good for our schools

Like many Fargo residents, we feel that one of the greatest assets of this community is our strong public school system. As involved parents in the Fargo Public Schools, we urge others to join us in voting for Dinah Goldenberg for school board.

Like many Fargo residents, we feel that one of the greatest assets of this community is our strong public school system. As involved parents in the Fargo Public Schools, we urge others to join us in voting for Dinah Goldenberg for school board.

We have all worked with Goldenberg in a variety of volunteer capacities at our schools for the past nine years. She has consistently taken leadership roles at area schools and at a systemwide level. She is widely respected for her organization skills, her dedication to the projects for which she volunteers, her thoughtful reflection of the issues, her research abilities, and her decisive voice when action is called for.

Because of her professional approach to her school-specific roles, she has also been sought after to work on a number of district-wide, administrative boards (i.e., Curriculum Committee, Professional Development Committee, and others). Here she makes thoughtful and informed decisions on a variety of issues for students throughout the entire district.

If you need further proof of her dedication to and interest in the operation of our entire district, we ask you this: which candidate or citizen, who is not already a board member, has attended every school board meeting since September of 2005, including the Saturday, April 29, budget meeting? Answer: Goldenberg has taken it upon herself to attend every meeting. This is consistently how she operates; she is dedicated and does her homework.

Goldenberg has been and will continue to be a strong voice for the future of our education system in the Fargo Public Schools. Please join us in voting for Goldenberg on June 13.
