I appreciate The Forum's April 15 editorial highlighting what's happening with these small steps forward that would significantly help a booming industry comprised exclusively of small businesses. Currently, microbrewing accounts for some 8,000 jobs and $80 million in gross revenue in Minnesota.
However, your editorial leaves out that the chief author and primary advocate on this issue (me), is a Democrat as well. This is not an issue that falls cleanly along partisan lines.
Again, I appreciate you highlighting the issue.
