At President Trump's address to Congress Tuesday night, several Democratic congresswomen dressed in white to show their solidarity with the suffragette movement and the struggle for women's right to vote. Such a display is a respectful way to honor those women who fought so hard to finally pass the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.

But that message was lost on North Dakota's lone congressman, Rep. Kevin Cramer. During a "radio town hall" (whatever that means) on Wednesday, Cramer stated that his Democratic counterparts had a "syndrome" and a "disease" that led them to wear their "bad-looking pantsuits."

Way to keep it classy. Rather than face the fact that his party has abandoned its principles to gain power, Cramer chooses to spew sexist, offensive drivel. Maybe Cramer doesn't want to admit that Republicans are now in lockstep with a president who aims to dramatically increase the national debt, start trade wars with other nations, and stomp on states' rights to regulate drugs, guns, and education. It appears that not only has Cramer adopted President Trump's radical policies, he's also adopted his complete lack of respect for women.
