Soon Governor Burgum's Higher Education Task Force on Governance will be reviewing the various possibilities for a better system for North Dakota.
One of the biggest issues is having a trained and educated workforce. Currently, our State Board for Career and Technical Education is housed under our secondary education system. This has been a major drawback for years. In our new governance model let's place the State Board for Career and Technical Education under our North Dakota Higher Education System and move North Dakota forward in its desire to create a more viable workforce for all sectors of our North Dakota economy.
