'Transgender' is word you hear a lot lately. Encouraged by this tidal wave of social change, I have decided to say my piece. I am writing on behalf of my good friend, whom I will call 'Bob.'

Bob believes that he is a dog. ('Human' was the specie that he was arbitrarily assigned at birth, but he feels more like a pooch. Since I am his friend, I agreed to take up his cause.)

Since Bob identifies as a dog, he demands that Fargo officials amend the 'indecent exposure' laws so he can relieve himself upon any city easement that he chooses. (He doesn't care how revolting this may be to humans; Bob believes that he has his 'trans-species rights'.) Furthermore, Bob demands the right to legally marry any other dog that he chooses. If anyone opposes his tendencies toward bestiality, Bob intends to immediately howl 'Discrimination!'

So that's what Bob wants: An up-ending of normal bathroom practices, and the overturning of age-old marriage law. And furthermore ... .What am I saying?! How does it make sense for the majority to change timeless, stabilizing laws for a tiny minority?

Wouldn't it make more sense for me to explain to Bob that he has a 'species identity disorder,' and to urge him to seek therapy for his issues?
