On Thursday morning, my husband had surgery at Essentia. As I was waiting, I went to the cafeteria to have breakfast. As I was getting my order rung up by the cashier, a woman dashed in with a bottle of pop, said something to the cashier so fast I didn't process it. She put her credit card on the reader and dashed off again. I assume the lady was an employee.
When I turned to pay for my breakfast, the cashier told me I was done. It all happened so fast it wasn't until then I realized she'd paid for my breakfast. I looked at the cashier and said "I didn't get a chance to thank her." Writing this letter is the only way I could think of to thank her.
I'd like to add that as we listen to all the junk going on in Washington, this demonstrates that no politician understands a regular citizen of the United States.
