David Brooks recently wrote a column for the New York Times on the need for decency in our political arena. Maybe it would be appropriate for Mike McFeely to write a column about North Dakota Nice. He wrote about empathy in his column about the Moorhead trial, but maybe that topic needs to be further addressed.

Have we forgotten about North Dakota Nice when we fail to correct someone after they have made a prejudicial statement?
