Letter: Please consider becoming an organ donor

We recently moved to Fargo. We made the move to be closer to family and to also be closer to medical facilities. A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with kidney disease. The disease has gotten worse, and now I have stage 4 kidney disease.

We recently moved to Fargo. We made the move to be closer to family and to also be closer to medical facilities. A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with kidney disease. The disease has gotten worse, and now I have stage 4 kidney disease.

I would like to state that the doctors and nurses I have and the care I have received from Sanford Health have been just great. My three primary kidney doctors-Dr. Chemiti, Dr. Phadke and Dr. Mistry-have been both very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. They are outstanding.

My kidney disease has progressed so far that I am now on home dialysis. The staff at the Sanford Dialysis Center has been great as well. I would like to thank Karen, Lois and Charlie for their assistance.

A few months ago I went through all of the tests and was approved to be put on the kidney transplant list. The staff at the Sanford Transplant Center, headed by Sheryl, has been super.

I am, as well as many other people are, in need of a kidney transplant. If anyone would see fit to become a possible donor, please give the transplant center a call at (701) 234-6715.

You would be giving someone the gift of life. Thank you, and God bless.
