Living close to Fourth Avenue South (in Fargo) near the water treatment plant and having worked in the road construction industry for over 40 years, I have followed the re-construction project with some interest.
The intersection of Fourth Street and 13th Avenue was an efficient design, but now it appears as though roadway realignment may have created a bottleneck situation with confusing yield control signs where there were stop signs before.
One has to wonder if the intersection might also be more dangerous as the result of these changes? I guess time will tell. Go take a walk and see what you think.
