In response to "Allow me to set the record straight on the Summit to Stop Suicide event" published Sept. 14:
I stand by my letter. I listened to the students and they were an informed source. They knew what they were talking about and they did not fabricate. I did not twist the facts and their experience was real.
Your letter sounded very politically-correct with all the accolades (for the school) and admonishments (for your classmates). Your school may have good things going on, but it still failed many students miserably. Their viewpoint and experiences count. Do not deny them-- nor question their integrity.
