Almost daily I walk from 555 40th St. S. to the Walmart on 45th Street in Fargo. All the way, there is trash on the sidewalks, lawns, streets, etc.
- Who should pick up the pet feces?
- Who should properly dispose of cigarette butts?
- When your plastic or paper bag blows away, who snatches it back up? Except maybe in a gale-force wind.
- When your purchased salad or sandwich is eaten up, who should put that container in a trash can?
There are trash receptacles everywhere. We should be able to reach one and deposit our trash.
Also, shouldn't our recycling vehicles be constructed in such a way that collected materials cannot blow away?
