Austin Culp's letter in the Sept. 8th Forum was shining proof that you can find anything you want, on the internet, to back up your particular beliefs.

Culp sounds as if he is even unsure if there is global warming. But don't open your eyes, Mr. Culp, to the disappearance of glaciers reaching down to the Canadian border. Don't open your eyes to the disappearance of the woolly mammoth.

We need to acknowledge global warming, whether it's caused by natural cycles or by humans. Let's suppose that it isn't caused by humans. Suppose that the climate has been warming for the past 10,000 years. What do we do about it? Do we shuck it off and leave it to our grandchildren to solve? I will vote for the politician who has the best solution.
