President Trump is spinning out of control, and is huffing and puffing to blow the House impeachment inquiry away. Trump has betrayed his oath of office to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Trump employed Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort to do what he wanted. In doing so they became convicted felons. In his first 869 days in office, he said 10,796 things that were exaggerations or outright lies.
He lied when he claimed he didn't threaten to withhold $391 million in military aid to an American ally in exchange for dirt on Joe Biden.
Bill Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, said, Trump “did offer” Ukraine a quid-pro-quo for badly needed American military aid against Russian aggression. This is a perfect example of the impeachable crime of extortion.
Ukrainian expert, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, assigned to the National Security Council, actually listened to the call, from the White House Situation Room. He testified that Trump's phone call "undermined US national security” because it is illegal to seek or receive election assistance from a foreign entity in US elections. This was the "smoking gun” testimony.
Trump made a strategically, morally un-American decision to pull troops from Syria and abandon our Kurdish allies, who fought and died alongside us during the successful battle against ISIS. Trump’s actions allowed ISIS prisoners to escape and execute more atrocities.
During a White House meeting, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., stood and pointing her finger at Trump; said, “All roads with you lead to Putin.”
Ukraine wants unification with the West and to join NATO and the European Union. Putin doesn’t want that to happen. The un-American decisions that Trump made regarding Syria are actually “aiding and abetting” Putin.
I believe Trump’s campaign slogan is no longer “Make America Great Again.” It has become “Make Russia Great Again.”
