Thank you to Forum writer C.S. Hagen for keeping us updated on the mural “Standing for us all.”
It is so heartening to see support for North Dakota artist Shane Balkowitsch’s iconic photograph of Greta Thunberg around the world. This is a celebration of art, expression, and lifting each other up around the planet.

We’ll be celebrating the unveiling of the mural at Front Street Taproom in the SOMA (South of Main Avenue) alley at 1 p.m. March 18th with Balkowitsch, Aaron Templin and Justin Berg, and all are welcome. This location is a half a block from the Island Park ramp with lots of convenient parking.
This uplifting work of art, beyond being a stand-alone attraction, will also serve as a beautiful catalyst for the ongoing transformation of SOMA alley to a destination that connects all the locally-owned businesses and neighbors along the way, from Rhombus to Red Raven.
Thanks to all the contributors to this grass roots project and hope to see you on March 18th.
