The Forum Editorial Board's defense of Superintendent of Public Instruction Kirsten Baesler's most recent run-in with the law is interesting and most concerning. Yes, she had big shoes to fill after decades of advocacy for support of public education with Dr. Wayne Sanstead who was a wonderful superintendent of public instruction for North Dakota.
What is interesting is The Forum seems to look the other way when it comes to our publicly elected officials serving as role models for others, particularly for our youth (Can you spell Trump?). And, of course, if Baesler were a Democrat, the Forum Editorial Board would demand her immediate resignation.
How predictable in a deep red hate state. How sad.
