I read with interest about the North Dakota Bill introduced that would prohibit transgendered athletes from competing against male and female athletes. I feel it is indeed needed to preserve fair competition among athletes, especially females that would be at an unfair advantage competing against a male who thinks he is a female. I wonder if allowing trans people to compete might also be in violation of Title IX as well.

Instead, how about having trans people competing against other trans people? Makes sense to me. We do that with Special Olympic participants, we could certainly apply that here as well. Seems a no-brainer to me.
Those who advocate for transgendered folks might do well to read a recently released book “Irreversible Damage” by Abigail Shrier. We are admonished to “follow the science” constantly on other topics, perhaps we should apply that to this issue as well.
