I remember when there were spot gas shortages and states would go after price-gouging stations. It seems the same thing has happened on a much larger scale because of the February cold and Texas grid failure, yet no one is saying anything or going after anyone.

I recently received my natural gas bill for July. My monthly payments have skyrocketed from $72 to $299 a month for at least 15 months, while my actual gas cost for the month was well under $40.

Am I alone, or is this a supreme case of price gouging from the petroleum industry and others that will most likely cost me and many others thousands of dollars?

Where is Wayne Lubenow when we need him?
