December 7th, 1941, is a date which will live in infamy. It was at this first clash of the United States and Japan that showcased the steel of American resolve as the United States was violently thrust into World War II.
For the past 77 years this date has been acknowledged with solemn contemplation, as all Americans looked back on the sacrifices that were lost that day. It was disheartening, disrespectful and just plain sad to not find a single mention of it in The Forum this year. I would like to know why the editors at The Forum no longer feel as though the attack on Pearl Harbor is newsworthy?
