In response to Scott Hennen's column " A 'soft, easy life' isn’t what these two North Dakotans are after " published March 12th:
I’m writing this from just outside our nation’s capitol, where not so long ago the trucker “Freedom Convoy” passed through.
Several reporters from the Washington Post attempted to track the progress of this group around the Beltway. Given its small size, even when the reporters knew the “convoy” was passing, no appreciable swelling of traffic was noticeable.
Could it be that, while our nation struggles with inflation, the war in Ukraine, COVID-19, and a plethora of real issues, that the selfish trucker’s club made no impact whatsoever?
Kind of like one of Scott Hennen’s columns.
