Even before COVID-19 transformed our lives, the rapid pace of technological advancements made massive shifts in what, just a few years ago, we considered our everyday norms. While the pandemic has certainly quickened this digital revolution, it was clear years earlier to several industries, including finance, that we needed to rethink how we best meet the needs of our customers and our communities.
At Bremer, we committed two years ago to sharpening our focus both on our digital capabilities and our physical locations. Part of those efforts included creating a new playbook for our branch designs, reworking how we interact with our customers and serve our communities.

Bremer Bank undergoing $3.3 million remodel
For just about a year Bremer’s Fargo branch has been undergoing a remodel, and I am excited to announce that the branch lobby is open.
The space is a literal and figurative representation of everything we exemplify as a modern, community-focused bank: light, efficiency, collaboration and warmth. With partner tables replacing teller lines and a full-service community space open for local organizations to use at no cost, the redesign allows Bremer to live out its purpose to cultivate thriving communities.
We’re particularly proud of the nod the branch gives to the Fargo community, featuring a large wood design feature that mimics the striations of the agricultural landscape of the region, representing the grain fields of North Dakota and Bremer’s commitment to ag.

North Dakota has been a part of Bremer’s historical fabric since our founding in 1945. We are so grateful to the Fargo community for your support, and look forward to serving you for generations to come.
