Just another day in North Dakota, our junior senator kisses Trump’s ginormous posterior yet again.
Sen. Kevin Cramer goes on Facebook again to grovel to Trump. “The Atlantic running these anonymous allegations is gross. President Trump loves our veterans and regularly honors whose who paid the ultimate sacrifice. If they exist, the cowards in this piece should put their names out there, or the piece should be retracted.”
Of the late Sen. McCain, “He’s not a war hero.” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
What Trump said about McCain is similar in sentiment to what is being reported in The Atlantic. Trump’s pre-nuptial with Marla Maples ended child support for Tiffany if she joined the military. Trump pardoned a war criminal against the judgement of military leaders. Trump saluted a North Korean military officer. Trump insulted a Gold Star family. Trump told a grieving widow that her husband knew what he signed up for, hardly words of condolence. What is being reported in The Atlantic is not a stretch in any way. Trump has shown us, by his actions, time and time again that he doesn’t respect anyone, including veterans and active duty military.
I am the daughter of a disabled veteran. I am the granddaughter of a disabled veteran. I am the niece of a Korean war veteran who never made it home. I am the niece of seven veterans who were fortunate enough to make it home although they were forever changed. One suffered from malaria for the rest of his life after serving in WWII. Another was part of a group of 500 men who parachuted into Korea and was one of only 17 who survived. I am the aunt of a young mother who just spent a year as a single parent of two children because her husband was deployed.

I have a challenge for Cramer. If even one of those you call “cowards” come forward, will you admit that you lack the integrity, honor and critical judgment skills needed to honorably serve in the upper chamber and resign. If one comes forward, it will clearly illustrate that the only “value” that you bring to the Senate is the ability to kiss Trump’s ginormous posterior. This is undeniably below the dignity of the office that you hold. And I’ll remind everyone that Deep Throat didn’t come forward for decades.
