Let me start with by stating that I read The Forum online and also get the paper version. So, when I read " Job Service of North Dakota Labor Statistics show 1,000s of jobs open in North Dakota, Unemployment rate low " I snorted.
With the legislators you have and the bills that they have passed or are being proposed, why would anyone want to move to this state to work here? Women's rights being eroded. Banning books/reading materials. Targeting the trans families and minimizing the LGBTQ community rights. Drag Queens called "groomers" or worse. Child care needs being ignored. Meals for children in school downplayed. Just a small example here. I'm trying to keep this short.
Those thinking about coming to North Dakota are going to be doing their own research and unless they're cut from the same piece of cloth as the Legislature, which is controlled by the religious right and their followers, they will just shake their heads no and look elsewhere.
