Too often, especially during the pandemic, it seems many of us are quick to complain but slow to say "thank you--good job!"
I recently wrote expressing concern about the excessive visits of U.S. Census staff to our home, and at the same time sent a letter to Kevin Iverson, Census office manager for North Dakota with the same concern.
Iverson responded immediately (which is nice) and explained the state of ND has no input or involvement with the actual taking of the 10-year census in our state. He did share my concern with the in-home visits several times and most importantly conveyed my concerns to the appropriate federal officials in Texas who are responsible for the actual census taking in ND.
I would like to publicly thank Mr. Iverson and others in his office who followed through on my letter and hopefully will help ensure our doorbell will not be rung by a census worker for another 10 years when the next census is taken (and I am here to answer it)!
