For years now, The Forum has run the disgusting blog of Rob Port. He has been putting food on his table by ripping on strong females, including former Sen. Heidi Heitkamp and Kylie Oversen and any other whom he deems a threat to his old boys network of right-wing fat cats.
But recently, Port decided to rip on 16-year-old Greta Thunberg . She has become the young face and voice of the environmental movement. The demeaning language and misogynistic tone of Port’s blog is pure tripe. Calling Thunberg “dead-eyed” goes beyond the pale.
Quite a few friends of mine still work at The Forum, and I am sure that they are just as disgusted reading Port’s steaming pile as I am. If The Forum’s need to get a few more online clicks continues to come at the expense of decency and integrity, that is simply pathetic. I will never click on a Port blog. Ever.

Please stop running it so the rest of the world doesn’t think Fargo is still stuck in the 1950s. It is time to wake up and enter the year 2019, a year in which women are equal to men, and bullying and misogyny should have already been long gone.
